Common Area Maintenance
With the incredible amount of rain we’ve seen this Spring, you all may be noticing that grass and weeds are growing at an incredible pace. The Mission del Lago HOA is actively monitoring the landscaping company to ensure that the common areas are maintained and looking as good as possible during this growth season. Thank you to those who have shared images or messages where grass needs to be cut back/maintained, you can always share these with us at Misdella@ciramail.com.
Welcome Marisa Zavala Herrera
We want to welcome Marisa Zavala Herrera to the community, the new Mission del Lago Property Manager.
"Dear Mission Del Lago Homeowners,
I would like to introduce myself as your new community association manager. I will be taking over Greg Veldman’s duties. Mr. Veldman has moved out of the San Antonio area but will continue to work within our company.
I have been working in this industry for over 8 years and have extensive knowledge in HOA management. I regularly educate myself with legislative changes that directly affect how your community is managed. I am a member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and I am currently studying for my next designation.
I look forward to working with your Board of Directors and all of the Mission Del Lago homeowner continue to maintain a welcoming community while keeping property value up."

Standing Water on Del Lago Parkway
Many of you have noticed the standing water at the corner of Del Lago Parkway and Clubhouse Boulevard. After lengthy discussions with SAWS and City Engineers, we have learned that there were defects in the original engineering of this intersection. While there is not a leak present, the excessive amount of ground water and rainwater creates a pool here that doesn’t have proper drainage. SouthStar is working with their engineers to solve the issue, which will involve some road construction at this intersection. We will keep you posted as we learn more about timing on this repair.

Owner vehicle decals are ready! If you previously filled out a form to receive a Mission del Lago decal for your vehicle, your decal will be mailed to you in the coming days. If you want to receive a decal, contact Marisa Zavala at Marisa.Zavala@realmanage.com.
