The Mitchell Lake Audubon Center is a favorite amenity in SouthSide San Antonio, and residents of Mission del Lago are fortunate to have it right next door to the community. The center features 1200s acres of natural terrain including wetlands, ponds, and upland habitat. Visitors come to hike, explore the grounds, and bird in a unique haven. They also come to attend events that take place throughout the year.
Here are the Mitchell Lake Audubon Center events in March.
The center offers birding tours several times per month including Sunday, March 15, and Sunday, March 22. Tours begin at 8am and are free for member of the center, $8 for non-members. No reservation is necessary.
